Installation and Deployment

Installation of the ExpereAPI is done through an MSI file using an installation wizard that distributes the necessary program files to a client or server machine (the installation target machine) as part of the Expere framework installation (Expere NET). There is no separate installation program exclusively for the ExpereAPI service; the framework installation program installs all necessary files required to start using the ExpereAPI service as part of an integrated solution strategy with other applications.

In a Java-based implementation (Expere Java) the installation is performed through a wizard utility in the WebSphere application server. There is no installation program for a Java-based Expere installation.
